Out of the Country!! {August 23rd – September 10th}

I’m SO excited to say me and my main squeeze (aka the hubby) are going to be traveling to Portugal, Morocco, Spain, Monte Carlo, France, Italy & Rome!! Traveling is such a huge passion of mine!! I’ve always had a strong desire to see the world… and in the past, I’ve been blessed to see SO many incredible places (Greece, Russia, London, Estonia, Finland, Paris, Sweden – are just a few!) I’ve been itching to see these new places we’re going to be traveling to for a while now, so we are finally doing it! Yiippie! I am most excited to be able to capture some photos of these amazing places and be able to share them with everyone!!

I plan on checking my email some, depending on the internet and where we’ll be – but please know I will be out of pocket from August 20th – September 10th!!

Looking forward to reconnecting once I return!

I thought I’d leave one last little photo tease before the hubby and I head off on our adventure over seas tomorrow!! This is a shot from Jessica’s bridals I took about a 3 weeks ago…. stunning, isn’t she? Everything about this session was to die for! The location, the bride…. the DELISH lighting… her dress. Love it all so much – I SO look forward to sharing the full post once I get back in the country – - it’s one you won’t wanna miss (wink!) Jessica and Trey’s wedding took place last night in New Orleans and it was absolutely breathtaking.

Jess, you’re the sweetest girl I’ve ever met – - it’s been incredible getting to know you and I’m so so blessed to have been a part of this priceless time in your life!!!! Love you girl! XO!

Lauren + Chris {Anytime Session}

This is starting to become a pattern, me blogging at… oh, 1am. It seems to be the only time I can fit it in my schedule! (Booo!!) Anyhoo, back to this blog post! I know I probably say this over and over – but once again, one of the MAIN things I adore about what I do is getting the opportunity to meet new, incredible couples! Lauren contacted me a few months back looking to get some shots of her and her hubby and the moment Lauren and I started throwing ideas back and forth about their shoot, we instantly clicked… at least I think so (wink) Lauren really put some major thought into their session (which I LOVE when clients do this!) and decided to add something that personalized their photos. A peach. Lauren and Chris met in Ruston, Louisiana – which is known for peaches. How cute, huh? I know.

Lauren, it’s been SO much fun getting to know you and having this awesome opportunity to capture you and your sweet hubby! I’m so thankful we were able to connect… I look forward to keeping in touch and hopefully working with you in the future at some receptions Chris, thanks for being your sweet self!! You both are the best! Much love! xo!

Carolyn + Michael {Wedding}

Carolyn and Michael’s beautiful wedding took place at the Botanical Gardens in New Orleans. I was so in my element for their wedding…. everything was picture perfect. The lighting… the details… the bride and groom – everything. I adore outdoor weddings so much – especially outdoor weddings at sunset. ::sigh:: One thing that was super important to Carolyn and Michael were pictures of them together after the ceremony. I love when the bride and groom will take extra time for photos… even if it means missing 30 minutes of their reception! Allowing that kind of time for photos… you won’t regret it. I promise… and I know Carolyn and Michael would agree. Enjoy my favorites from their special day.

Carolyn and Michael – it was SUCH a pleasure capturing every beautiful moment the two of you created that day. It was perfect in every way and I believe the photographs show that. Meghan + Blake {E-Session}

I remember being somewhat overwhelmed with the amount of brides that were coming through the door that day at the bridal show… everything was fast paced and kinda… well, a blur when I think back. After the show was over, and I took down my display booth, I remember wondering which brides I’d hear from again. Although I met SO many sweet brides – to – be that day, there was one that really stood out to me… Meghan. She had the sweetest most genuine way about her and to be honest… I hoped she would be one of my brides from the moment I met her! Meghan got in touch with me a few days after the bridal show and booked her May 2011 wedding with me….!!! (Yes, I did do my happy dance) I recently shot their engagement session where I finally met her finance Blake. Of course he was just as sweet as Meghan. It was a perfect day to capture some priceless memories! Enjoy some of my favorites from their E-Session!

Meghan & Blake, I can’t say enough how excited I am to be capturing this special time in your lives… it’s been the BEST getting to know you both and I anticipate everything else to come! Thank you both for being you. xo!

Jenn {Bridal Session}

When Jenn got in touch with me about photographing her wedding, the very thing I hate the most happened… I was already booked. She decided she wanted me to still do her Bridal Session and I’m so, SO glad I had the honor. I love nothing more when a bride shows up to a session and knows who she is as a bride when it comes to the style of her shoot and the way she desires it to look. She blew me away from the very first shot I took… I think you’ll agree.

Jenn, your beauty is truly exquisite and I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to capture this moment in time. Congrats to you and your sweet husband!! xo!

I’m overly excited to be able to share another one of my beautiful weddings!!
