Life the last three weeks, has thrown some heartache my way to say the least… but God is good and things are starting to get back to normal. SO… with that said – Wow! It feels great to blog a new post finally!! Yay!! Whoever said (in a photographers world) February and March are slow months?… geez… I must highly disagree! I’ve been so busy with shoots and editing, my blog lately has been feeling pretty neglected. I’m hoping to slowly catch up because I’m pretty pumped to show what I’ve been up to lately. Moving on… Meet Victoria!
Victoria and I were destined to connect with each other! She was only a few weeks away from her wedding day when I got the email from her asking if I would take her bridals! We immediately clicked the more and more we talked and I was so thrilled being able to capture her beauty as a soon to be bride! We did her shoot in the heart of New Orleans and then headed over to the beautiful City Park to finish a beautiful day. Victoria, thank you so much for allowing me to share in this special moment in your life. You and your sweet mother were such a joy to be around and I only hope to capture more special moments in your near future! Congrats on becoming Mrs. Petersen and many blessings on you and your new hubby!
Enjoy and goodnight!!!

Victoria had her dress custom made… hollla!!! I so adore the sleeves that drape so romantically off her shoulders!

Her smile was so incredible to photograph!

eeeee!!!! I love love the mood of this photo!

and this is why I heart New Orleans.

LOVING these…

…and this.

Some more favorites… how could they not be?

Red shoes… um, yes please!

Victoria – you. are. stunning.

{Right photo} Favorite shot of the day!! Beautiful bride + chandelier…. enough said!

{Photo on right} was the one she picked to be her bridal portrait at her reception! I ADORE when brides pick non-tridtional portraits!! You go girl!

Soo… I think we can all agree, finding a bride that will swing on a rope swing IN her wedding gown, BEFORE her wedding day ROCKS!!

I thought this would be the perfect photo to end on because to me, it’s SO New Orleans!

Oh, Ashleigh…these are SO beautiful! I LOVE your work! You are such an inspiration!
