Wow! It’s been a whole month since I’ve blogged a full post!? Craziness!! With having weddings every weekend and senior season being in full swing, I haven’t had much time to sit still and blog. I’m happy to be able to share a post with you guys tonight…. meet the beautiful, sweet, Megan. This shoot was…. incredible. I’ve loved Heather’s sweet personality since the moment I sat with her discussing the possibility of me being their photographer. I loved everything about her soon to be husband, Jacob, before I even met him…. her vision for their wedding…. their venue… I was hoping so badly she would book with me, and she did…. my heart was elated! We met up with Heather and Jacob to shoot their engagements…. and it was my most favorite type of shoot…. where you show up at a location, none of us really knowing where we were going or what we were going to take….. we just hung out, walked around…. and captured moments. It was awesome. I’m excited to be able to show my favorite frames from their shoot. Enjoy and happy weekend! ::Hugs::

From the first time I met this beautiful couple, I knew their wedding day was going to be special. …. and it was. What I love most about these images is you’re able to see who Jeanna and Chris are…. as individuals… as two people in love. Their willingness to be themselves in front of my camera allowed me to capture some priceless memories…. ones I hope will forever bless them. Here are some of my favorite frames from the day. Enjoy!

I’m thrilled to be able to show another awesome First Look!! I absolutely love this moment that the bride and groom get to share with each other before the ceremony. So priceless and sweet…. Here’s Jeanna’s thoughts : :
“I would consider myself a traditional girl; but from the day we got engaged, I knew I wanted to do a “First Look”. I mentioned it to Chris, and he said that he was okay with whatever I wanted to do (such a great fiancé/husband)! A lot of our family made it clear that they thought it was a bad idea, but we didn’t listen and did the “First Look” anyway. That was the BEST decision we made! We ended up with one of our most treasured memories of the day and our favorite pictures. I will always remember that special time we spent together, just the two of us soaking up our wedding day, away from everything else. And for those who wonder if it takes away from seeing your groom at the end of the aisle, that moment was just as special! And for the family members who doubt your decision, those pictures will end up being some of their favorites too!”
Jeanna had her mom be a part of their First Look which I absolutely adored. Her mom helped her get tucked away behind a tree and waited with her before she walked out to see her future groom. It was so special to capture.
I truly adore my couples…. and I’m happy I get to share another one with you all! Jeanna and Chris are that type of couple that you feel like you’ve known them for years… Jeanna has the sweetest heart one could have and Chris has a gentleness about him. I love seeing couples that you know where meant for each other…. To be able to witness that is something I love most about what I do. ::Hugs!::
Lindsey and Matt’s wedding took place in the lovely little town of Natchez, Mississippi at Brandon Hall Plantation. It truly was a charming wedding with tons of southern loveliness. Lindsey was a bride after my own heart. We all know my deep love for all things Etsy… so when I showed up to start taking her details, I was instantly in heaven. …. and her dress…. ::gasp::… anyway, on to the photos…!!!

First Looks…. I love First Looks. I’m so thrilled that more and more of my couples are choosing to see each other before the ceremony. It makes my heart happy. Here’s what Lindsey had to say about their First Look they shared with each other : :
“I always imagined myself walking down the aisle and seeing my husband to be for the first time then and there, but after reading Ashleigh’s reasoning on her website of why a “first look” is recomended, I started to re-think it! I am so glad we made the decision to do a first look, having that moment of us seeing each other that day with no one else around was very special and one we will always treasure. We are so lucky to have had that one-on-one time before our wedding and we are even luckier to have pictures of this moment too! The pictures of our “first look” were by far our favorites out of the entire day because we were not worried about having to be somewhere or missiing something at our reception. Im so glad we decided to do it, best decision ever!”
